Restoring and Expanding a Lakefront Deck for Enhanced Outdoor Living in Onsted

Premier Deck Builders transformed a deteriorating deck at a retirement home on a lake in Onsted. The client wanted to restore safety and usability while expanding the outdoor space for better enjoyment.

The project salvaged most of the existing framing, rebuilding half to reinforce and expand the deck. TimberTech Dark Roast composite decking was installed for durability and low maintenance. The original glass railing was carefully reused to maintain the lake view and style.

This restoration and expansion created a safer, more spacious deck that enhances outdoor living by the water. The project balances preservation with modern materials to deliver long-lasting beauty and function for years.
